We have had a small, but important, success for residents living at 38-47a Chapel Street. The entrance to the block of 20 flats is actually in Transept Street but there is also a locked gate in Chapel Street which confuses people delivering parcels because it looks as if it is the entrance.

Residents had a simple solution – please put a sign on the Chapel Street gate saying the entrance is in Transept Street.

We asked the Housing Department to do this and they have now put up a temporay sign, with a permanent sign to be installed in January. Hopefully, deliveries will now be much easier for residents and for the delivery people.
