Two new planters have been located at the dumping ‘hot spot’ on the corner of Transept Street and Chapel Street.

We hope that this discourages dumping over the coming weeks and months. Similar initiatives have been successful elsewhere in reducing dumping.

Already, someone has placed two smaller plants in the gap between the two planters and this as a positive sign that some residents might want to ‘adopt’ the planters and make this area a ‘green oasis’.
