Cara is a new candidate, she has lived in Westminster North for 8 years. Cara has volunteered with Queen’s Park Community Council supporting community organisations to access funding. She works for a charity, and has previously worked in Parliament and for a range of social justice organisations. She has campaigned successfully on housing for victims of child criminal exploitation, hate crime reform, reproductive rights, child poverty and youth participation, and has been a trustee of Refugee Rights Europe.
Cara is concerned about the health risks of poor air quality in Queen’s Park, problems social tenants have with housing repairs, and the recent waste of public money on the marble arch mound by Conservative-run Westminster City Council.
